1. Structural Cooperation

   As the material (e.g., plastic films, paper) passes through the plasma region, the high-energy particles in the corona discharge bombard the material's surface. This process breaks the original chemical bonds on the material's surface (especially for non-polar materials like polypropylene) and introduces polar functional groups (such as hydroxyls and carboxyls). These changes increase the material's surface energy, significantly improving its wettability and adhesion, making it more receptive to inks, adhesives, or coatings in subsequent production steps.
4. Ensuring Uniform Treatment
   The design of the corona roll—including its surface smoothness, precision in maintaining the discharge gap, and synchronization with the material's conveying speed—ensures that the corona discharge acts uniformly across the entire surface of the material.
